Snowflake Friday

I know some of you are getting snow.  I am content to look at pictures of it and not have to shovel it out of my driveway or off my car.  :)

It's gotten quite cold here.  I caved and turned the heat on yesterday.  It was 65 degrees in my house.  Turning the heat on is kind of a game in my house.  We always wait until we cannot stand it anymore.  I used to do that with the AC too now I am too fussy and hot-flash-y.

I am off of work for a week which is super nice.  I've been a ball of stress for no real reason (and that annoys me).  I got a massage last night and that helped.  I'm doing a strength training workout this afternoon.  What's everyone doing for the weekend?  We're having dinner with friends we haven't seen in about 5 years tomorrow night and we have xmas with the inlaws on Sunday.

Have a great weekend guys!

It was snowing in Krakow this morning! But just a littte. I went to the gym tonight, 10 minutes on the bike, then lifting for chest/back. The gym was pretty empty, and they are closed Sunday through Wednesday...yes, I get Boxing Day off this year...I think it might get warmer and if it does I might run one day, and I can do abs/legs at home one day. I am invited to a party tomorrow at the home of the head of the office. It includes a Yankee Swap so I have to get something...probably wine. I feel like I should bring a house gift but I barely know the office head and I have never met his wife so not sure. The expat group here is small and close...I am the newbie..they are welcoming but I am still nervous about fitting in. Sunday I am going to church (I am trying a different church each week) and then I might go to an exhibition of nativity scenes - they are hand made each year as part of a contest held to preserve the craft. Christmas Eve I am invited to a party, and we drew names and I need to get a gift..I know the person who's name Idrew better than I know some of the others, so that makes it a little easier. I have an idea, just need to buy and wrap. I don't have plans for Christmas Day or the day after. I hear that the stores and most restaurants will be closed so I have to get some food. Thre is a living nativity quite near me and I might go see that, and I might go to the hotel where I stayed on earlier trips if they are serving Christmas dinner. I am happy with my level of plans plus no plans. Oh, and I am having my hair cut and colored tomorrow...that might have interesting results...have a good weekend everyone:)

Odd, I couldn't post this morning, but, now, I canost without the signin screen.

work today, picked up dd from college, shopped, and go to yoga tonight.  Dd is out with a friend.  We are going to a two-hour yoga class tomorrow, followed by cleaning and preparation for my five nephews and nieces and brother coming in on Sunday.  Then, Monday, we go to my mom's for four nights, return to my house for one night, and theme, take them to the airport.  BUSY.  I still have loads of work to do, but I am "off" for a week.  YEA!

viao.  I'm late.

It snowed in my town today half way across the world too. ;-) I have so much family in that i have barely had time to check my e-mail today. I finished all my shopping today and just need to wrap a few things.

The thing that made my day today...I found a misfit pair of men's ultra soft fleece small sleep pants with the legs too long on a sale rack and they fit me perfectly. I have my very first pair of sleep pants on. :-) ROFL!!!!
