This two day work week makes me feel like a "woos."  Since I am sore from yesterday's yoga class, I am taking a rest day.  Perhaps I will go to dogtraining tonight if the trainer doesn't cancel class (he doesn't have enough people in tonight's class yet.)  At least, that would be some walking/kneeling/bending/etc.  I was so annoyed and anxious at the dentist's office yesterday - I needed two sets of novacaine shots to get numb just to have the crown placed on my tooth (she had to scrape off the cement from the temporary).  I have tremendous sensitivity, probably due to my grinding.  :(  My jaw kept locking open, too.  Ugh.  Three more to go.  Did I tell you?!  I booked our South Beach (Miami) vacation to celebrate my birthday this month.  I also booked two salsa classes for me an my husband while we are down there.  Even though there is some job uncertainty (I will have gotten some type of notification of job status the week before), I decided that I still need to live my llife with fun.  So I need to find some comfortable dance shoes (is that an oxymoron?).

Stay warm!  I think dh said we are expecting 48 hours of -6 high temperatures starting on Monday.  "Woohoo" she said sarcastically.

Living life with comfortable dance shoes... I like it.  And I totally agree that you should live your life regardless of job status.  Look at it this way... if you get good news, you can celebrate.  If you get bad news, you will have some quality relaxation before having to take action.

I'm training this afternoon and have to go out this morning for an allergy shot.  DH, OP and myself have movie tickets for this evening but DH isn't feeling well so OP and I may go.  I offered to reschedule but DH insisted that we go.

I'm feeling so-so.  Little nervous about driving again but I know I need to do it.  My husband's truck is enormous so it's like driving a small tank.  In one sense, that's nice but in another, I really struggle in parking lots.  I won't have my car back until mid next week at the earliest so I need to suck it up and get used to the truck.

No workout today but I'm thinking I may try some cardio on Monday.  I'll have to see how I feel.  We're going to a retirement party for a friend of ours tomorrow - it's a costume party and everyone is supposed to come dressed as a villain of some sort.  I love my friends.  Laughing

Omgosh, you have to get novocaine for a crown? Ugg! I had no idea. My appointment is Monday and I so not looking forward to it. We too are expecting below zero temps next week. I am not looking forward to that either.

Good for you for you for continuing to live despite the uncertainty of things. Hopefully your job news will be good news and it will only help make the fun better.

I was in a car wreck quite a few years ago that totalled my car. An older man completely barreled through a stop light and hit me broadside. He was in a truck and the sun was shining in his eyes and he didn't see the light had turned red. My car spun across 4 lanes, jumped the curve and smashed into a pole. I will never forget the screaming of my kids and my own panic as I climbed out and couldn't get the doors open to get my kids out. Thankfully no one was hurt (we had bruises but nothing major) but to this day I still proceed very cautiously into intersections.

Have fun at your costume party. What villan are you planning on being?

It's funny how those things stay with you.  Someone started to pack out of their parking space today while I was behind them and I jumped.  I got a speeding ticket near my home years ago (one of those spots where the speed is reduced) so now I NEVER speed in that spot.  I don't like it but it's obviously effective.

I haven't figured out my costume yet.  I have Red Queen costume which is a possibility.  I've been too tired and distracted to care.  We also have the option of dressing normally and being one of the "victims" of one of the villains so I may just do that.
