It was in the 60s yesterday...and VERY WINDY!

I'm up early - gotta get out of the house for a very early appointment this morning.

Swiss chard is in season in the summer so what you get now won't be as good now.

Fsn, your forecast yesterday is what we're supposed to get today.

Just one client today and probably an elliptical workout.

Tried those Miracle noodles last night and I am impressed. We made an Asian noodle salad from the miracle noodle website and it was delicious.

Good morning. The sun is shining here and it is supposed to be in the 60s as well. I am supposed to try out the new trainer this evening so I am looking forward to that.

How do you feel this morning after all the dental work yesterday?

I whacked the heck out of my knee on the elliptical a couple days ago. I don't know if I am ultra uncoordinated or what but somehow I was cruising along and my knee hit the font. It's not the first time I've done it so I typically avoid the elliptical anymore unless the treads are all taken.

I'll have to check out Miracle noodles. I am not familiar with them at all.

Your knee hit the front of what? The elliptical? Do your knees come in?

I have been going to the gym regularly but today I came home to be with my dog. I'm afraid we're going to have to put him down this afternoon. Can someone tell me how euthanizing our dog is not killing him? Murdering him? I'm struggling with this. He is in so much pain. He can't walk. He can't sleep. He stayed up crying and whimpering all night. He can't position his body in a way that doesn't hurt. The pain meds aren' helping and he's on the maximum dosage. There isn't anything else the vet can prescribe. She suspects a very painful bone cancer but can't know for sure without sedating and x-raying him. Taking our dog to another vet for a second opinion. This is excruciating. My kids will be devastated. I took their picture with the dog this morning. They all hugged him. We've been readin books on the subject of losing a pet in anticipation of his day. He's an old dog and the vet recommended putting him down several months ago. Since he were managing his pain and he was still happy, we didn't do it. But now his quality of life is very poor and the pain is too great. Those are all good reasons to euthanize him, but I feel like I'm killing him. Why won't he just die naturally? Why can't I come home and find a cold, stiff body? Why do I have to do it????

B- hb egg
S - green drink
L-leftover pot roast with mashed cauliflower
D- vegetables and rice with curry sauce (The demo table at Trader Joe's gets me every time!)

If you read my rambling and totally not related to the gym message, you'll know I'm not going to the gym today.

And,Jean, I googled my symptoms of swollen lymph nodes, difficulty swallowing, pain under the right side of my tongue, etc and came up with mumps, mono, herpes, HIV, strep, or oral cancer. I feel much better today after concocting an herbal tea remedy.

They are not actual noodles, but plant matter. They have no calories.

My heart breaks reading this, millcreek. It is such a hard decision to make and one I fear I will face in the near future. I keep telling myself that it's a quality of life issue. If he's no longer happy or comfortable, it's unfair to keep him here.

Good luck at the other vet. I will be thinking of you today. *hugs*

Yes, I hit the front of the elliptical. My knees must go in-I can't really figure out how I am hitting it. Maybe it would be a good thing to ask the new trainer about tonight.
