It's supposed to be 70 today and sunny. I should probably be really excited, huh?

Good morning. Thankfully it is going to be warm out today but it is raining hard and we may get flooding rains by the time it's all over. I don't live in a flood prone area so I am glad that is one thing I don't have to worry about.

I got a great walk in last night in the park and I was shocked at all the tornado debri in

Well yay that you got the money back! I can't even imagine how the school managed to let that happen to begin with.

It's raining here today too but thank God nothing severe. They are hinting at record highs for next week. lol I'm betting after a warm winter and hot spring we will wind up with a cool/ugly summer.

I didn't know Rosetta Stone was for the computer. I thought I could use it for my car.:-(

So, my Christmas gift was Rosetta Stone which we returned. In the meantime, my husband gets one for himself (sitting in his sock drawer) just for fun, in addition to all his gifts, plus an iPad for his birthday.

Why are you getting the school involved? I'm glad the parents have stepped up to the plate and paid you back. I still don't get any of this. I pay for my kids' lunch money.

Those "magnetic" people are dangerous and you probably cannot teach your daughter that this girl is bad news. She is going to have to discover this on her own.

With your daughter having access to your money, there is no real "consequence" to "helping" her friend. However, if your daughter is loaning/losing her own money, I suspect she will see things quite differently.

I don't know how feasible this is for you to set up but if your daughter feels pinch of not being able to do A, B, or C because Bad News Bertha has taken her allotment, I think she will start to see more clearly.

Wow. I have to say I have the same inclination you did, about helping her because she's grown up with such a tough situation, plus she doesn't have the role model kids needs about behaving responsibly.
