I am so thankful that it is Friday today. After the all day meeting I had yesterday, I was feeling very down. My husband is trying to talk me into buying a convertible For the summer. With all the negative stuff going on in life, I am actually coming around to the idea. I can also feel that a cold coming on, with my throat being very scratchy for the last couple days. So, I have lots of work today, I have some errands to run, and maybe I'll take my daughter dress shopping, so that we can start getting ready for our Seattle trip. I think I will make this a rest day, since I I'm feeling a little rundown. I think doing yoga and line dancing the same day may have pushed me over the top.

FSN, a convertible for the summer sounds like fun!  And why not... you deserve to have fun.  Tried the blood orange vodka last night.  I made a standard cosmo but subbed in the blood orange vodka...  very tasty!

Happy, enjoy Krakow.  Eat some pastries for us!

I've got one client this morning and then am doing a high intensity strength workout.  Our party is tomorrow night and I'm nursing a nice case of the butterflies.  Everything is taken care of... I think.  We still need to finish decorating and do some cleaning tomorrow.

Yesterday's tragic story of the day...  I was leaving to run errands and I specifically rushed out of the house so I could beat my husband's boxing trainer so he didn't block me in.  Unfortunately, he was uncharacteristically early so he had to back up our rather steep driveway to let me out.  Apparently, after I left, he was reparking his truck and thought it was in drive.  It was actually in reverse.  He hit our travel trailer and pushed it into the house.  The part of the trailer that he hit is dented but alright.  The house is missing some stucco and we haven't moved the trailer yet to see if the back of it (the part that hit the house) is damaged.  It banged up the front of his truck pretty good too.  It was entirely his fault but I feel bad for him.  He's got insurance so everything will be fixed.

Fun!  What kind of convertible would you get?  Do you want one and are hesitating or do you not want one and he's trying to convince you? The former, I'd say go for it!

I had some early morning clients. We're getting the remains of TS Andrea and it's going to rain non-stop but I think we still are rowing.  I don't mind but I know I'll be REALLY cold.  I need to remember to bring gloves.

Wow, that's a big accident for just moving the truck around the driveway!  That's what insurance is for, I guess.

A blood orange vodka sounds good. For a while, my go to drink was a meyer lemon drop. I rarely drink anything but wine anymore.I'm getting boring in my old age. Ha, I rarely drank in the past so I've always been boring.

Gym-yikes! And I thought I was having a bad day. Phone and internet have been off for hours. I was in the middle of posting this morning when *poof*. It just came back on.

Fresh-a convertible would be so fun. I say go for it!

It is a nice day here so I'm going to get to the park and do a few miles. Leftovers for dinner. I have nothing at all exciting planned for the weekend.

I too vote yes for the convertible! I have never bought a car for myself...I didn't drive until ten years ago and I just used my mother's car...which I've inherited. My dad and my brother are sports car guys..I love little, fast, top down cars. It wouldn't be practical for me to have one, and I certainly fon't need one...but I would love one..just not enough to spend the money...my 11 year old inherited car has 46,000 miles on it, and I am like the little old lady who moved the car on Sunday to dust the driveway..but maybe someday I will buy that Red convertible....Gymrat, yikes...reverse instead of drive must be embarrassing as heck..never mind the cost and aggravation...at leat no one was hurt...did he teach boxing afterwards? Jean, we are getting the storm too. I am at the airport hoping my plane is on time, while drinking wine...I will be in Krakow for a week. Karla, remind me of the babies' due dates? No workout today, just not enough time in this day...

No... his poor trainer was rather frazzled and they spent their session time on the phone with the insurance company.  I can't imagine how mortifying it was for him.

Have a wonderful and safe trip!
