Whew, just one more day! I'm hoping I have more energy today.  I'm teaching step this morning and teaching dance conditioning in the evening. This is the last night of my jazz class and I'm tempted to blow it off. It's been fun but so frustrating. The class spends more time talking than dancing and we get little done.  It's expensive so I'm done but paid through the month. I'm seriously thinking of taking up Krav Maga but maybe that needs to wait until after ski season.  I'm feeling seriously out of shape for ski season!

An expensive class where you talk more than dance?!  Insane!  I would be furious.  I am exhausted this morning.  I had a late dinner meeting for work last night.  I am thinking of yoga today.  On public television, I saw a neurologist talking about brain plasticity, and he advocated for meditation, setting an intention, and yoga for retraining your brain...how timely for me!  DH is totally stressed about work deadlines.  We have another holiday party (his work associate) this weekend.  Other than that, it looks like the "same-o, same-o."  :D

I'm feeling a bit better today.. emotionally anyway. Maybe physically too? It's still early. Just one client this afternoon and I'm planning to do another low key elliptical workout (snore). I've got a number of tasks around the house to get done as well.

What a day I had yesterday! First, my daughter had her OB/GYN appointment and she is 9 weeks. All looks well and we got to see the baby on ultrasound. Not only is my daughter having a baby, due July 5, but my daughter-in-law found out she was pregnant yesterday, due July 26. lol I think my children are trying to repopulate our shrinking town.

I finally found yoga pants long enough for me. I got them yesterday and would you believe they were ripped? It looks like someone took a box cutter to one of the legs. I am sending them back today and hope a new pair arrives soon. And yikes, I do not like the way my rear end/thighs look in yoga pants. How on earth do people not have panty lines when wearing them?

Wow...your family is growing FAST!  :)  There is nothing like the hope and joy of a baby.

Re: the yoga pants, how annoying!  I hope you don't have to pay for shipping twice, since it is not your fault.  As for panty lines, no panties!  Some women wear a thong, some nothing, or you can put a pantyliner in your pants as options for no lines.

Karla - I've grown to love boy short underwear. I find that eliminates panty lines with most of my activewear (and I can't stomach the thought of a thong during a workout). My other solution is to wear long wife beater-style tank tops which I purchase in the men's department. :)

Hahahaha-girls, I'm going to have to get long t-shirts to wear with my yoga pants. I am not sure I can go commando and not feel totally conspicuous.

Gym-I haven't tried the boy shorts. Maybe I'll give some a try. Do they ride up?  What brand do you recommend?

I think I bought Fruit of the Loom (or maybe Hanes?) at Walmart. No, they don't generally ride up. They're pretty comfortable actually.

What's brain plasticity?  I wonder why he didn't advocate sweating hard.  That gives me far more sense of peace and feeling good than meditating could.

I hear you about snore workouts.  I wonder if we've just done it for too long and too much is same old, same old. I used to love kickboxing but I could barely stay in the whole class on Tuesday.

I love lululemon's light as air undies. They're super thin--the next best thing to going commando. But, they're $18 a pair.  Generally, I go commando, though. It has crossed my mind at silks that being upside down, legs out could give some questionnable views.
