Tired Monday

I keep waking up in the middle of the night.  :(. I was told my my nutritionist that soy is a Poland form of estrogen and that could be contributing  (helping or not) to hormonal imbalances.  Since I startecleanness cleanse, I had TToM (after no TTOM for 6 months) and I have been having more uninterrupted sleep.  It may just be coincidence in timing.  Oh well.  Two Moore weeks of my cleanse, so I am going to really try to stick with it...no more cheating (I ate a serving of seafood at my work function, using the excuse that I was eating what my customers ate, and I have had a glass of wine a couple of times at night.). I will see how good I can be for the last two weeks.  :)

Possible yoga tonight, after work.  I should really add in more cardio.  Wile in downward dog, I saw tlegs the skin on my legs has thinned, and what I saw was yucky.  Perhaps it's tpant to stop wearing shorts?  Karla, how did your run feel?  Jean, how are you feeling about your kids?  GR, what fun activities did you partake in?  Steph, aside from Starbucks with your pooch, what did you do this weekend?  Make it a great day, everyone!

Yes to protein, but no animal protein.  I "cheated" on the night of my work function with some seafood, though.  It's just popped into my head, though, about soy being related to hormones.  There are only so many beans (and beano) a person can eat!!!  Boo on your sinuses!  That is so horrible...I am suffering right now, too, and I have had a constant tickle in my throat for the past month.  I want it to be either hot or freezing so that my sinuses can go back to "normal."  As for your client, it sounds like you don't want to train her.  If you don't need the money, why torture yourself, although it sounds like swonky just to use the services and you'll pocket the money?

Jean, all of those moves look like a lot of fun! Good for you for mastering some new moves. Ad, , maybe 1% of people in the world even attempt this stuff, so even if you are the "worst" in the class (which I bet you are not and you are just being hard on yourself), you are still in the top 1 percentile!

Hi ladies :) Freshstart - yep, Starbucks with the pooch was nice then we came back and went for a walk so I could burn off my coffee pleasure. Later, I met up with the girls for a little shopping and a light meal. Sunday morning I woke up and hopped on my elliptical then got ready and went to the car wash. After running errands, I had a nice visit with my parents followed by a wonderful dinner :) The weekend flew by and here we are, Monday......

ROFL! You girls are GREAT for my self-esteem! Maybe I should post pics more often. hahaha

My sons got a new pump installed and most of the water is now out but the smell is not too pleasant. My dryer is working again but they have to get back under the house when it is not so soupy under there and put in new venting. At this time we don't see any major damage and it didn't quite reach the subfloor so we are just praying it wasnt there long enough to cause any issues. My town got almost 6 inches of rain in 30 hours so I am betting my house isn't the only one that had water under it.

You all know you are crazy, right? Running up hills, through mud...so fun...jumping from bar to bar and swinging in the air...so fun! Not eating real food...so...well, sort of fun.... Sinus infection, no antibiotics..not so fun, but....ladies, this board should be called 'tough broads'. Stephanie, welcome...pray you don't come over to the dark side:). My arm stopped hurting as mysteriously as it started....Tuesday I was thinking of gnawing it off...by Thursday, it was a non issue...I did skip a lifting session last week...I am a wimp....but I lifted tonight and ran 1.5 miles. I went to Zumba both weekend days, and on Saturday, I stayed for 'Core Ball Fusion'. There used to be a Pilates class in the slot, which I liked, but the ball thing is only ok. And on Saturday, there was a sort of 'bait and switch'. The gym is offering some 'cost extra' classes, and one is 'Ballet Booty'. The seond half of the ball class became a try of 'Ballet zbooty'. However, I have a foot issue, and I o not stand on my foes...and the class hava lot of that. We had to o o another room, and we left our stuff - the ball setup and my mat nd shoes - in the original room, so it would have been hard to leave...and thn the class ran long...I usually on't care, but I was meeting my aunt, and she worries...anyway, i didn't like the whole way it was handled...it should have Ben more optional. This was at the Cape gym, and I won't be back there for a while, and by then I will probably forget...and oh yeah, first world problem. My life is awesome and I know it! Karla, hope that the sun comes out and dries up all the rain....

Core ball fusion sounds like it could be a fun class.  There are a lot of fun things you can do on the ball but it can also be basic boring, too.

SJ, I am glad your arm has stopped hurting. Wonder if something could have been swollen and putting pressure on a nerve? That happens to me often with my elbow. Usually a few days of Ibuprofen or something will help it.

And have you done the Ballet Booty? My gym has just started offering it and I wondered what it was about.

I've done a barre class where you do similar exercises at they'd do in ballet. It was okay but I never went back. It's one thing to do them when you do ballet but another just to do as a stand alone workout. It's not that intense but it's great for people who want to start getting in shape.
