This lack of sun is killing me. And the weather changes are shocking. It's freezing this morning and, Yet, yesterday, it was almost springlike weather. To follow up from yesterday's post, Jean, how is your ankle? And k a RL a, I'm sorry to hear about your HVAC system needing to be replaced. By the way, the typing may look sort of funny because I'm using the iPad voice recognition application, and the text editing on this board does not allow me to go back and forth between voice and typing so it's one where the other. And gym rat, is your energy level any better? Select times of work today possible lunch date with friends, and a possible late-night line dance date with another friend tonight. Doesn't seem like I'm getting busier with time? It seems that way to me. This weekend, I go see my mom and daughter. It seems that my mother is closer to moving into an assisted living facility. She cannot handle the day-to-day life annoyances like switching her phone plan to another. She also cannot remember or memorized her new cell phone number, so at least she knows that she has to keep her old home phone number which is have for 30 years.

Good morning everyone. I am definitely a weather victim this morning too. My head feels like it is going to explode. Yesterday was sunny and spring like and today it is barely 50 degrees and raining.

I have to take my granddaughter for therapy this morning then I am going to come home and spend the day going through the kids school work to see how close we are to finishing.  We usually wrap things up May 1 but it's going to be more towards the end of May this year. This has been one of the more challenging years of homeschooling this year with three teens and my own self taking classes.

Next week I am having my carpets cleaned and the new HVAC system put in then I am going to delve into baby shower decorations to see what I can come up with.

I am going to do a weight circuit tonight then probably plop down on the couch and watch TV with hubby for a while. We are currently watching a show called Justified.

Fresh, I am right there with you on days getting busier. I wanted excitement back in my life and I have definitely got it. lol

My ankle is probably as good as it's going to get, unfortunately.  The problem is the scar tissue is pushing against the nerve and causing pain. The good news is it's not causing more damage, or so the doctor says.  It's possible scar tissue massage could help but I'm almost putting that down w/ most holistic type cures. The doctor says it won't help but anecdotally it has helped some.

I had a work function last night where I had to get dressed up. I rarely do it, rarely wear heels so it was an experience. I had six clients in a row this morning, misset my alarm for the 6am but luckily woke up just in time to get there. I'm ready for a nap now!

FSN, you do seem to get busier and busier! I don't know how you keep up w/ your schedule!

My energy is a little better... thanks for asking.  I saw my therapist yesterday and she put a lot of things into perspective (as she always does).  No work today.  My body has felt just achey and sore and I don't know why.  So, I'm going to forgo cardio today in favor of a yoga workout at home.  I'll be doing my version where I hold each pose for a minute.  It allows for a good stretch and also seems to build endurance.  It ends up being a pretty decent workout.

I saw the chiropractor today. He showed me the two degenerative discs in my neck that are probably the culprit of the pain in my shoulder going down to my fingers. Since I want to do everything I can before I have surgery, I've decided to try the chiropractic route. Since my insurance will cover several visits for now I will be getting a massage followed by a an adjustment and some exercise therapy, and if I see improvement within a week I'll continue going. This doctor thinks that I can go pain-free within four weeks since he'll be helping me at just the way I hold myself and open up bloodflow into the areas that are currently restricted. I am skeptical but hopeful as I do not want to live with this pain anymore. Have any of you ever gone to see a chiropractor? Oh, and tomorrow I'm going to have a potentially explosive meeting with my workmates. My manager is requesting that I confronts one of my teammates who is aggravating several of my customers because she is so aggressive. She has an explosive personality, And it is hurting our business. My usual behavior is to avoid people like this, but in a work setting that doesn't necessarily not the most benefit. I am not looking forward to tomorrow, or maybe I am? C'est la vie.

It's great that your insurance will cover chiropractic services.  Let us know how it goes.

Is it possible you just have a bug, nothing related to the sinus/surgery?  How are you feeling today?

I used a chiropractor when I had back and hip issues and it worked for me. I am currently seeing one for my elbow and so far I've got more relief from being "adjusted" than I have with any other suggestions from the regular docs. I have not had to take pain medication for many weeks now so I am very happy with the results so far.

I hope it works for you!
