I got up and went running very early this morning. It actually wasn't too bad. I need to find ways to motivate myself to keep this up. As long as the weather holds out on me and doesn't get really cold for a while, I'll be okay.

A good friend's 22 year old son was riding his motorcycle and got hit head on by an SUV. He was going around 50 mph and wasn't wearing a helmet when he went airborn and landed on his head. He is still alive but is far from being okay and most likely will not live. He is on life support with major brain trauma and a broken neck among other injuries. My son is this young man's friend and today is my son's birthday. He sat with me this morning and it just really hit us hard that as we are celebrating the anniversary of life for our son, a friend is preparing for the possibility of his son's death.

I plan to spend the weekend cleaning and just other odds and ends. I need to do some serious deep cleaning!

Does anyone have any exciting plans?

So sorry to hear about your friend's son.  I know motorcycles are freeing but they scare me. With all the crazy stuff I'll try, I avoid that, not because of myself but because there are bad drivers out there. I'll bet it's nice to have support from friends but nothing could make that easier.

Oh, I forgot my journal.  I had early morning clients and then went to parkour.  It's really hard to get motivated to move when I'm so tired from being up early. We have new trainers and I'm thinking of cutting back even more on hours.  Or, cut back to nothing. Anyone doing anything fun this weekend?

So sorry about your friend. My heart goes out to his family and friends. I am having a hard time getting motivated today. Since my gym is closed (at least the classes,) and I can't push myself to make the 1+ hour drive to the next closest gym, I am being a sloth today. I did the ballet body class yesterday which was interesting and a yoga class the day before...I really need yoga every day. The closest studio only offers classes on a one month pack which I can't justify when my gym classes open up in a few days. My daughter is coming home this weekend for a job interview, and if I don't end up taking her to a job on Saturday, I will be taking her to a party with my coworkers. It would be a good networking move for me in case I ask more managers about jobs close to my mom. I would like to finish my quilt, too. I really slacked off on that, and I have a couple more that I would like to start on. I think I have ADD on my projects.

Are there yoga studios near you? There are quite a few that have opened in my area. With how much you enjoy it, I think you're well suited to real yoga.
