lol I couldn't think of anything else to write to get us started.
What a busy day! My husband has invited one of his long time friends and the friend's girlfriend over for dinner this evening and we are going all out over the meal. A few years back he and this guy had a falling out (over a work issue as they both worked together) and we are trying to extend the olive branch as he and his family were a big part of our life and we want them back in it.
We are slow cooking baby back ribs with Sweet Baby Ray's bbq sauce and all the fixings.
He is working on the living room and entry way and I'm working on the kitchen and bath to get things all tidied up.
In the meantime, I am grading math tests and working on a grammar assignment for the kids. I won't get to work out tonight but this event is worth missing the gym for.
Mending fences is a wondering thing, Karla. I hope your evening is a success!
Still on the mend, thankfully. I'm itching to work out and run around and do things but am trying to take it slow. I'm thinking Thursday will be a safe day to rejoin my workouts. I'm off today so just planning to hang out and rest.
Not sure on food but no soup. I am so sick of soup.
It is getting exasperating toget onto this site. I could not get on all day yesterday. Today, I got the login screen twice beforebeing able post. Ugh.
Karla, how wonderful of you to try to mend the fence. Sometimes.I give up, but you and your husband are the courageous, good ones. How'd it go?
Gymrat, I am SOOOO INCREDIBLE TIRED. If I hadn't scheduled this meeting today, I would call in sick. I am so tired. :( To me, soup sounds GREAT.
SJ, yuck on the PB in the gym. I have an issue with women being viewed as objects and not as human peers. I just hate it. Good for you for letting go of what you cannot control and focusing on your workouts. You have such persistence.
