Well they finally got my FIL moved to the town I live in last night. Very late last night. The transport service got lost so we sat at the nursing home for hours waiting for him. Neither the hospital he was moved from or the nursing home could find him for about 2 hours. We were absolutely fit to be tied!

I did get a good workout in yesterday so that makes me feel good. I have much to do today including heading over to the nursing home to fill out papers, hauling my mother to the library for computer classes, my daughter has dance and girl scouts and my sil is coming in today. Fun fun fun!

I think I am going to make Chili for supper since I will have so many people here and it's so cold and snowy.

Karla - That should take some pressure off you, yes? To have him close by?  And that's terrible about the transport company.  :(

I did a cardio workout this morning and my elliptical is not functioning correctly.  It was making a really annoying noise (I am that person who becomes rage-y about annoying noises) so I fiddled with it last Friday along with DH's help.  We thought we fixed it but 10 minutes into my workout, it was making a new annoying noise.

I feel like my life is filled with minutia right now...  My allergist has ordered a CT scan of my sinuses so I need to get that on the schedule.  I need to call the elliptical repair guy.  I am trying to connect with a woman whose house we are trying to rent for a getaway in April.  I found her on VRBO and the house is fantastic.  She has this thing about only renting to people she feels comfortable with so she wants to speak to me on the phone.  I totally understand that but at the same time, I'm willing to pay a $500 refundable deposit so can't that be enough?  We've been playing phone tag for the last day.  Once we finally speak, I will have to pretend ot be a normal person.  :P

I've got two clients this morning/afternoon.  Not sure what I'll be doing the rest of the day.  Today is my last day of antibiotics and I have the sinking feeling that in 3 or 4 days,  I'll have an infection again.  I'm trying to be positive though.

Not sure on food.  Definitely a breakfast sandwich and a latte.  Not sure about lunch.  Usually OP picks up something for us on Tuesdays but he and DH are having a meeting this morning about a business they are starting so I don't know...

Oh, Karla, I am emotionally drained just reading your post...I hope you are able to find some ME-time to maintain your sanity. Btw, does the transport company get paid by the hour, or what?! How aggravating. Oh, Gymrat, I hope that sinus infection stays at bay...that is annoying too! I am totally sore from snow removal from two driveways yesterday. I walked the snow blower the four blocks over to do our other house since the buyers will be closing tomorrow...I just felt it was the "right" thing to do. So, yoga this morning was fabulous, but I kept cramping up. Work today, followed by quilting tonight. Marlo's, this weekend, I need to fill out the paperwork to make my pup a therapy dog. I also have been making some great recipes from Pinterest pins, of which I want to make a quinoa recipe tonight. S much to do!!!

Karla, that is horrendous about your FIL. There is no excuse in this electronic age for something like that to happen. At least you have reached this step and hopefully you can catch your breath before the next one. Gymrat, I too hate noises...when we were checking out of the hotel Sunday the phone was ringing and ringing and I was gritting my teeth. FSN, responding to last night's post - I have ultimately always chosen to be alone over compromising. It is a valid choice, but it can be a lonely one. In hindsight, I wish I had compromised a little more, but the road we travel is such that you never know what would have happened with different decisions, and I am essentially happy, so for me, I made good choices. But I knew along the way that I would end up alone. If you are good with that possibility, then you are ok...I went to. The gym tonight - 10 minute bike, then I asked the Polish gym instructor to show me what he was doing last night with kettle bells. That was for me a very brave thing to do....he showed me squats and lunges. I can't say I loved them, but it was variety and that was good. He tried really hard to explain things to me which was sweet. But I am not sure I will use them again. I miss my gym so much...

What a nightmare but at least he's situated now.  I can't imagine a transport service getting lost like that!  Don't they have GPS or a cell phone or something???  I hope this gets resolved with the company.

Sorry I've been out of town, diog a ton of skiing. I'm really feeling good about my skiing this year. It's all about putting in the time.  I talk to all these instructors, fellow enthusiasts and they have major trips all over the world. I don't know why I can't get my act together to plan fun things like that!  I just get analysis paralysis and no one in the family helps. Well, when I ask my husband for input, his solution is to spend a lot of money!

Ugh, I hate dealing w/ minutiae.  Where are you going in April?  I understand where that woman is coming from but I also wonder how much business she's losing by doing that. She might be better off just hiring a property manager.

Do you normally cramp up at yoga?  I'm surprised that the only time I've cramped is when I tried to point my toes in silks.

Jean, you are so awesome!  You set your mind to do something, and you DO IT!  Yea. No, I don't  normally cramp in yoga, but after snowblowing and shoveling two driveways (and walkways) AND doing yoga, yes.  I could only hold the binds for a short while.  :(

I HATE cramps in my feet and toes!  Yes, that happens to me, too.  I've noticed that I can't stand up quickly, either, for fear of passing out.  I can feel myself get dizzy.
