Do you have any cheese to go with my whine?  I am so tired.  No workout today.  In fact, I think I am going to do this one meeting and then come back home.  I have been pushing myself each day to just trudge through work, but, honestly, I can't remember being this tired!  I even  tried to do yoga yesterday, but I could not do the last flow series...I was just too exhausted.

How are you all doing?

Fresh, so sorry to hear you are so tired. If it doesn't get better in a day or two, go to the doctor. Many years ago my run in with the flu turned into pneumonia and I didn't even know it until both my lungs were involved. It was what they called walking pneumonia. My only symptom at first was the horrible exhaustion.

SJ, I have to wonder about the world wide web too. I know this site is having major issues but so are a few other big sites I've tried to visit in the past weeks. I probably spend far more time on the internet than most people so I  come across things all the time that don't work anymore. Maybe I just notice it more, I can't decide. For weeks I had trouble with Facebook and did everything I know to try to correct it and the problem turned out to be something with my ISP. I think maybe there are just too many variables these days.

Dinner with the friend turned out to be fantastic. We had a very relaxed evening and it felt so good. They didn't want to leave and we didn't want them to leave. We decided we would start getting together again like we used to. I really hope the past will be left in the past.

It's ugly, cold, and raining here today. I think I'm going to go hang out at the library for a while later then hit the gym.

I've tried to sign in over a dozen times and can't but at least now I can do quick reply. It's so frustrating! Take it easy on yourself, fsn. You've been really sick so take your time to get back into it. I had three clients this morning and then some friends over for lunch. It's nice to reconnect--we all teach/train so it's hard to find time together. My workouts are poor right now but I'm going to give it time to get used to skiing three days a week, plus working on top of that. I can't wait to get my silk so I can play at home!

FSN - the flu is really hard to get over. I think sometimes we say we have 'the flu' when it is some viral infection but the flu itself can be really dangerous. Take the time you need to recover. Karla - I am living on my iPad here and so on the web more...some stuff is great, but there are so many things that don't work. I brought my laptop with me because I thought iwould be able to access my cable from here..but it knows I am in Poland so it is blocked. Someone sent me a link to change to have a US IP address, and it worked one weekend, not the next...I have no patience for that stuff...I need my own personal help desk..or a ten year old..Jean - I love how you don't think skiing is a workout...and where are you putting silks at home? I picture you flying from the garage rafters....I went to the gym tonight...for the first time, someone in the locker room tried to talk with me...her comment was on the music (which is vey loud) she was dancing while sitting so I did a little dance. With almost no language in common, I asked her if she goes to Zumba, and she asked me if I went to water aerobics...this made me unreasonably happy...I ran for ten minutes, then lifted for legs, with floor abs on a bench in between sets....

Jean, I wondered the same thing as SJ, are you going to attach yourself to the living room beam or something? lol

SJ, sorry to hear about your ISP issues. Have you tried a Google Public DNS to see if it helps? https://developers.google.com/speed/public-dns/  I use it with my Wii and Blu Ray and it works great.

I'm on the fence about where to put the silks. What do you all think? As for attaching it, I told my husband that's what I want for my birthday--find a way to hang them, hire someone or whatever it takes. 1) in the garage--probably aesthetically the best option but it's cold/hot in there and I'd be less likely to use them. 2) living room w/ cathedral ceiling. I'd use them most here, probably, plus I'd get the height but then people would walk into my house and see teal silks hanging from the ceiling. Doesn't exactly go w/ the decor. 3) family room--it's only used by close friends and family so appearance isn't as important but the ceilings are lower so not as practical. 4) bedroom w/ cathedral ceilings. This might be a good option, though I'd be less inclined to use them. 5) basement--practical like the garage w/ controlled climate but very short ceilings so I couldn't do much other than invert. Any thoughts?

Redecorate the living room to go with teal silks...or put a mirror on the bedroom ceiling too and then it will be really interesting for people to wonder what is going on. Do they have to be teal?  We can all ome to your house and make an HGTV home makeover show...silks from the ceiling and a living room that converts from elegant toa parkour course in five easy moves..definitely a table you can vault over. Pack your paintbrushes and fabric swatches ladies, it's time for a road trip...

ROFL SJ! I vote for the mirror and silks on the bedroom ceiling. Throw a fur comforter on the bed and maybe put some lava lamps around the room. ;-)

Living room or bedroom!  If you are going to get them and install them, then you HAVE to use them!  I am envisioning you as the woman in that one commercial flying in the air thought her living room and kitchen.  How fun!  If they are in the bedroom, it might spice up your love life.  :)
