Where is everyone on Wednesday?

I thought it would be the last one to post this morning. I was out the door in the wee morning hours because the woman who no longer work for my company "forgot "to cancel a meeting this morning. Now I have a time of extra work to do all day, and this evening I'm going to veg out on the couch. My virus has significantly affected my voice, and I truly believe that if I were not gargling with cider vinegar, overdosing on vitamin C, and using the Netty pot, I would be home in bed at this moment. No workout today, as I am completely exhausted even for daily work. By the way, gym rat, your writing inspired me to do something that I love. I stayed up super late last night, working on a in-depth budget spreadsheet that will be rolled out to hundreds of my coworkers for use throughout our region. My girlfriend who got a big promotion asked me for help Because she is swamped, so I told her to just take my spreadsheet and roll with it under her name. I don't need the recognition, because just knowing that I did it and that she know she Carolind me is enough to give me self-satisfaction. Plus, I know that when I need to call in a favor, she can be relied on. I am hoping to do more of these analyses for her throughout the course of this job that she has. Who knows?! She could end up being a big manager somewhere else and take me with her! :). She is definitely someone who gets things done. And I'm confident that she is, "going places. "Icon on the other hand, am the kind of person who likes to "follow ", and just do the work and go home at the end of the day. What are you all up to?

As I wrote that, I realized that, yes, I am a Greek.  :O. Karla, my prayers go out to London and your family!  S many scares.  I hope you and your family find time to relax and enjoy too.  :(

. That is so much stress in your lives.

Riiiight.  Had I not been approached by this other family, we would have kept her.  Her rent pays the mortgage.  Of course, if she decided to leave, I would have immediately reacted by thinking she was conspiring to ruin me financially.  Smile

Conspiracy theorist!  I wonder if she thinks the world is out to get her.  Good thing you found someone new!

I haven't directly heard from her of course but she contacted the next door neighbor (who is a realtor and is either selling or renting her unit).  That lady called my realtor and told her my tenant thinks my agent and myself are conspiring against her to get her out and "re-market" the condo.  And this is exactly why I am getting rid of her.  She is stress I do not need.

"LOL, I'm glad I inspired you although I must admit, I too find it a bit odd that it's staying up late doing a spreadsheet for a co-worker. "

I'll bet you never thought you'd inspire someone to do a complex spreadsheet! Glad you made a good decision about the tenants.  How did the old one take it?

Gym, I loved the article- Great information!

Fresh, I should have messaged you all those nights I needed help on projects. ;-)

Abby got a part in that play she auditioned for. She only has 5 lines but I don't care. Woohooo!

LOL, I'm glad I inspired you although I must admit, I too find it a bit odd that it's staying up late doing a spreadsheet for a co-worker.  But hey, whatever floats your boat.

Exhausting day packing up OP's stuff.  The dust was starting to bother me so I came home and showered.  Didn't sleep much last night so I'm not going to do a whole lot this afternoon.

I gave my current tenant notice this morning and need to work on preparing a new lease for the new tenant.

Things are very much in flux right now and while it's kind of exhilarating, it's also kind of exhausting.  I would not refuse a calm week.  Cool

London is my oldest granddaughter (she'll be 3 years old in a few weeks). Her foot has been twisting inward the last week and she's been acting oddly. They are running tests on her brain shunt to make sure it is working properly and she is also being checked to see if she has a tethered spinal cord. Ugg. If it isn't one thing it is another with that poor child.

My other grandchildren are Jackson (12 weeks) and Milan (9 weeks). I had them both for a few hours today and it honestly is an incredible workout! I don't know how people manage twins.

I'm off to Insanity. Hehehe...the class that is.
