ROFL!

My day is not looking very wonder opus. I have to drive over an hour each way to the visitation of my sister's mother-in-law today. In storms, with my mother. Ugg.

I am going to try to get out this morning and jog a few miles before the storms hit. I then have to do some grading of reading assignments, a few chores and then head to the visitation.

Gym, I forgot to comment on your allergy shots. I took them for years and years when I was younger. I don't know if they helped in the long run or not but it is probably worth trying.  I do have bad allergy issues but started taking Nasonex several years ago during bad allergy attacks and it works better than anything I've ever used. I don't even keep an inhaler on me anymore because I haven't had an asthma attack in a couple of years.

My condolences to your family.  I am sad that my one customer/friend may not make it, either.  :(. GR, I, too, tried allergy shots for years.  In the end, I now use Omnaris and Loratidine when my allergies are bad, and that seems to work fine.  But, the shots may work for you.  Every patient is different.  Hanging out for a customer meeting...bored at the moment, knowing that I have to cram in Pa before leaving for my dance class tonight.  This rainwreathed is "for the birds."

I would have never figured out what Wonder Opus was.  :D  FSN, even though we all tease you about your voice to text and spellcheck, I enjoy the giggles that come from strange words in strange places.

Jean, to answer your question from yesterday, no.  I've always written stuff down and people have told me for years that I should do it for a living but it never seemed feasible.  I still feel like a fraud.  :D  There is a dark side to all of this... I'm seeing the negative side of media content.  So much of what's out there is SEO-driven (search engine optimized).  Things aren't written for people anymore - they're written for search engines.  It's a little disheartening because so much of the time, good quality information is irrelevant.  They just want the search engines to find the articles.

I got another contract today writing for a website that produces health content and serves as an aggregate for clinicals studies around the country.  It's health driven and designed to get people to participate in clinical trials so it doesn't feel "cheap." My lack of anti-histamines have been challenging.  I'm tired and my face feels like it's not really attached to my body.  Just one more day until I get my testing done and then I can go back to my allergy med cocktail.  I've had allergy shots twice before in life and did not find them to be terribly useful.  However, my allergist explained that the method of preparing the serums has come a very long way since the last time I did it.  I have been hoping to control things with my meds but it's just not working all that well.  Controlling one issue just creates another different issue.  I totally don't *want* to do this but we're running out of drugs for me to take.

I was supposed to work but canceled because I'm so tired.  No workout either.  I got a tiny bit of work done and probably won't do much else.  I'm going to rest and go to bed early.

This is trite but have you considered blogging, GR?  I love your Friday musings. Maybe just post something short and simple like that. It's enough that it catches your attention for a quick read and it gets me searching sometimes to figure out what you're talking about .
