Working out Thursday

Thursdays are my heavy workout day, or only workout day right now... I teach step and we've been doing more intervals and abs/core than step which is good for the class. I have aerial silks semi-private w/ Hawaiian woman who is half my age and size and a pilates instructor so is incredible at it (it's not good for my ego) and then teach dance conditioning.  Seriously, I have to find a partner to share silks who is closer to my age and also has belly fat hanging when her shirt goes over her head when hanging upside down.  Come to think of it, i've never seen anyone close to my age at silks who I didn't bring.

I love the idea of a unitard. It is funny to think of having different gym wardrobes....cute stuff for some places, grungy for another...I can see you with a heavy metal band t shirt, with a rip in it, for parkour...

You can joke but the outfit of choice is usually a unitard!  And, tucked in leotards are second.  We make a stylish group, either oddly tight or bellys hanging out.

There are some really cute gym clothes.  The problem w/ them is that they're fine for classes but I look out of place at parkour with cute little ruching and cut outs.  I need grunge and to look like I don't take it so seriously when I go there, or anywhere really.

Jean - Maybe you could find one of those 80's era leotards so your shirt stays in place...I loved those...but then I liked stretch pants with foot straps so what do I know...I wear black pants or shorts and t shirts to the gym...I feel like if I switched to cute gm clothes now it would be odd, but if I joined a new gym, I would dress cuter..or probably not, but I think I would. IGymrat - I am amazed at how low mortgage rates are. When I bought my first place, rates had dropped from 18% to 13 % and we were so excited. Two years later they wn't o 10% and everyone refinanced. That they would ever be 3% was unimaginable...of course, money in the bank earns nothing, so I guess it depends on where you are in life whether you can benefit. It makes me want to borrow money just because it is so cheap....I am ready for the weekend even though it is a day away. My bread worked out last night, which makes me very happy. I really like to cok, and I misse that in Poland. I went to the gym tonight - 10 minute bike wmup, lifting for shoulders, bis, tris, then abs. I can feel my body getting tighter from the heavier lifting. I am sometimes on the verge of saying 'too heavy' but I push through it...and I love that feeling of reaching my limit. I hope to go to Zumba tomorrow.

Mortgage/refi always gives me a headache. I'm always sure I'm paying more than I should and I sign a million papers and have no idea what I'm agreeing to.  Good luck with yours!

Jean, you are inspiring to me and many others, I'm sure!  Let yourself be the "gateway" person!

My day isn't terribly full but there's a lot going on.  We're closing on a refinance for our rental property this morning which is good.  It means the rental will actually be profitable.  I've got to get our camp application submitted this morning.  I also bought curtains for the guest room and need to hang those.  I will be doing a strength workout and I've got one client this afternoon.  Dh's birthday is tomorrow so I'm getting ready for that.

Breakfast: Jimmy Dean sandwich (still addicted to these)

No idea on the rest of the day...  we seriously have no food.  :P
