Hope nobody minds that I started the thread today. I guess I am the first here this morning. I've got a very busy day with work and some studying for a quiz.

I do workout Dvds occasionally.

Today is probably a rest day. One client this afternoon and then grocery shopping.

Heard yesterday that I do not have valley fever. This is good news, I guess, but it means we still have no idea what we're dealing with. Definitely frustrating.

Ew. So sorry they haven't found anything yet. The endless tests and waiting for results is completely nerve wracking!

I once had to wait for 10 days for test results to find out if I had Ovarian Cancer. I didn't sleep, couldn't think, and was mentally and physically sick the whole time while waiting. I really feel for you because I know how overwhelming it is not knowing exactly what you are dealing with but knowing something is wrong.

Looks like there have been some changes! Had a hard time finding you today. Usually, when I'm missing, it's because I'm not feeling very gym ratty. This time, I was missing because I was too gym ratty! Been working my butt off attune gym and going out of my way not to miss a workout. Had a tough workout this morning. Not unusually hard, just 1 of my 2 harder days each week where I put in a full 40 minutes of cardio followed but weights. I couldn't figure out why I felt so terrible during my workout. For a minute I thought I was having a heart attack. I kept thinking of our former gym rat friend, Grace, that was very fit and suddenly had a heart attack. And have you seen those new heart attack awareness ads for young-ish women? The commercial where the busy mom is feeding her kid And cleaning the kitchen while feeling fatigued, Nautious and short-of-breath? I sort of felt like that and then I started feeing a tightening sensation in my chest but on the right side. I couldn't think what side of the chest he heart is on. Panic, panic. Probably, not the smartest thing, but I kept powering through. Finished my cardio and started my weights. Then it hit me... I had packed my breakfast but never got around to eating it this morning. All I had was some coffee, a lot of strong coffee, and that's what had my heart racing. I don't usually drink coffee before a workout, but I only had 4hours of sleep last night. No wonder I felt horrible! Anyway, got the workout in. B- yogurt with raspberries, coffee, a handful of dry shredded wheat cereal L- ? Didn't plan this day very well S- sardines D- pork chops and sauerkraut Kel, hope you get a diagnosis soon and feel better. Karla, I tried doing workouts at home brought Netflix's live streaming and DVDs but I didn't like it. I LOVE being at the gym and tried DVDs in a pinch, but it was really boring and Unenjoyable for me. Felt much more like work than fun.

I do like going to the gym much better too. For me it is more than exercise, it is my social scene. I didn't even know Netflix had an exercise section. What genre is that located under? I'd love to check them out.

I don't remember gym rat Grace-what happened to her? How tragic. I so worry about that kind of thing because heart disease runs in my family.

It's nice when others start the journal.

Scary moment. I've had moments like that, too. Palpitations are part of perimenopause, too. My doctor did an echocardiogram and came up w/ nothing. I can count on one hand the number of times it's happened. He thought it might be anxiety but I really am not an anxious person and am pretty calm.

Never google symptoms, almost always ends in death.
Karla, Grace was here 5-10 years ago. I think she was even a fitness instructor. We were all shocked when she told us she had had a heart attack. She had to "take it easy" after that. I'm sure you could imagine how frustrating I would be to not be able to do the most mild workout.
