Hi Danielle,
My husband and I started exercising together about 15 years ago (we've been married for 25 years) and it has taken our relationship to a new demention. We have set future goals for ours health so we can live long lives together and it has only helped to strengthen our relationship.
But as the poster below has mentioned, make sure that fitness is not the only thing your relationship is based on.

Yep I definitely typically date guys who work out a lot like I do. You just have more in common I think.

Hi Elissa-do you actually work out with them? How does that go? Do you ever feel intimidated?

Hi Danielle,

Studies have shown that there are numerous benefits to fitness in relationships. It is not only a great way for the both of you to stay healthy together but it is also a great way for you two to spend time together. It's also great motivation to continue with the healthy habits. That's great that you and your man both prioritize fitness in your lives. It is definitely important to me that my significant other values their health and well-being just as much as I value mine.
