With most of the US suffering in triple digit heat, not to mention the oppressive humidity, how have you been fitting in your workouts?

  1. 1-Exercise first thing in the morning
  2. 2-Exercise in the evening
  3. 3-Go to they gym where it's air conditioned
  4. 4-Take a dip in the pool or lake
  5. 5-Other, please explain

Oh this has been a hard summer for getting in any outdoor workouts. I have been hitting the gym for weight training and then waiting for the sun to go down in the evenings to get in my wogging (walk-jogging). The heat is supposed to have ended finally as of today so I may be getting in a nice lunch hour walk if it has! ;)

It's been hot here too, not as hot as the midwest and southern states but still hot.

Boy, I wish I had that problem! It's been raining for weeks now and today the maximum temps will be around sixty.

When I was in Greece this summer I ran in the early morning (starting between seven and eight, with eight being on the verge of too hot) or in the evening. I also swam. It's just unthinkable to exercise in the heat here, so I never tried it. Most people there still sleep between two and five in the afternoon if they can, and everything closes during that time. I'm betting they don't do that in the States, no matter how hot it is!

Well we haven't had the hot temps you all have had, but when it is hot, I like to run in the morning, or exercise in the morning, but most of my real workouts are at the gym.
