I think one reason I've been hesitant about workouts, too, is that I think (as I've mentioned before) that I want to do active activities instead of hitting the gym. I probably have talked about this before but I know so many people who never step foot in a gym and stay incredibly fit and toned (very toned where you can see individual muscles) by doing things like rock climbing, kayaking, parkours, martial arts, etc.  There are a lot of things I like about being in a gym but I've been there for 25 some years and am ready to do something else.  So, I've been looking for activities but in the meantime:

Sunday: running 5 miles w/ friends

Monday: teaching 2 classes--strength cardio circuit and coreXtreme

Tuesday: Core Fusion yoga or easy run. I'm not liking this at all

Wed: Tabata or some shorter workout

Thursday: teaching step, checking out a new bootcamp class

Friday: Maybe another run

Saturday: Zumba

Funny you mention kayaking because I bought a Living Social deal for four to do kayaking at dusk and was thinking of doing it on Saturday night.  Or, I also have gift certificates to the DC trapeze school.  My shoulder can't handle trapeze, or I don't think it can, but it might be able to handle aerial silks.
