I am always happy for a new week....I am going to a wedding on Wednesday...an odd day for a wedding, but two pwoplw I love much.  It will be small, just family and very close freinds, and requires a long car ride...not my favorite thing.  I am going with my brother and his family, so the start and end times are outside my control.  But I took Wed - Thur - Fri off and wil end up back on the Cape so all is good.  But workout will be different...

Sunday - abs, zumba

Monday - 10 miunte bike warmup, lifting for chet/back, abs, run 2.5 miles

Tuesdat - 10 minute bike warmup, lifting for legs, abs, maybe swim

Wedenesday (in the morning) - 10 minute bike warm up, liftting for shoulders, bi's tris, abs

Thursday - maybeabs,  zumba if I get to the Cape early enough

Friday - abs, run 2.5 miles

Saturday - abs, zumba

Tomorrow is my mother's birthday.  Last year, my nephew came for the weekend and we picked out her gravestone.  Because of that, I was not that sad.  This year, I am sad.  I went to the cemetery this morning - I am trying to grow black eyed susans- -one of her favorite flowers - and they need watering.  But today I went to go to the cemetary, even though I know she is not there.   We always spent her birthday together on the Cape, and this year, I will not be there...I will also miss her at the wedding because she loved the groom a lot and she would be happy about this....I guess in some way she will be there....anyway, I antcipate an emotional week, and I will have to try to not fill the sadness with food....

Congrats on the weight loss and lifestyle change. That's awesome!  I'm finding as I get older that I need longer recovery time.  But, that's okay--work hard, play hard, rest hard.  As long as you're enjoying moving, enjoy the rest time, too.  My kids give me a hard time because when I teach skiing, I fall asleep before 8pm.  As you said, there's something about fresh air that puts me to sleep if I'm doing a lot outdoors!

I met many goals this week..I did. Not swim, and I missed the bike goal by 15 minutes, and I didnot run on Friday....but some fun life things happened instead, not big things but nice things, so I think I did well with the time I had. But I haven't been swimming in weeks...I am going to try to be on top of things this week so that I get in some laps before summer is gone! So I am giving myself a passing grade this week, but it is on the low side...
