Are you reading or have you already read The Hunger Games? Which scenes are you the most excited about seeing in the movie?

yes, it was difficult to read, especially the second book, which was psychologically tougher on me. As a mother it's hard to read about kids killing kids to survive, kids (and adults) being tortured and killed for smallest infractions.

I had no idea what it was about until I read that pinterest poster about "I work out so I won't be the first to lose on the Hunger Games" or something along those lines. I had to ask what it meant and my daughter described it to me. It sounds very disturbing to me and I'm sure I couldn't read it.

I haven't although my BFF and her kids have read the whole series and are planning to be at the midnight showing when it opens. The movie was filmed just up the road in Asheville. I didn't go to watch the filming although my BFF's family did.

Yes! Read the whole series. First book is definitely the best. There are no particular scenes I'm excited to see...just looking forward to the movie in general.
