I don't know what got me googling on this and thinking about it more and would love if Jen were around to provide insight. I came across this site which caught my eye:

Introverts, I've found, can be friendly and outgoing. It's not aboutpersonality, it's about

I love phone calls, but only with "approved" people.

My MB profile changes, probably by the hour.

Yes, it does. This year I made a point to bring a book and I took several "breaks" where I just laid on my cot and read. In past years, I've brought a book but could never tear myself away from the action for fear I might miss something. This year though, it was necessary. And people knew not to bother me unless they were about to die. And in that case, they could go see my co-leader. ;)

I hate partner stuff too. :) My husband goes to a yoga class every week and they do partner stuff fairly often. He partners with an older woman who also hates partner stuff so they just remind each other that they aren't enjoying it while they have to do it. :D

I tend to end up paired to cheerleader.

I would think that partner stuff would defeat the "personal" yoga workout.

For what it's worth, you should not worry about the sweat. A bikram yoga instructor should be used to sweat and if he/she isn't, they are in the wrong profession. People are always worried about me touching them when they are sweating, or worried about breathing on me... but it's part of the job.
