Since we were just watching home videos, a lot of Christmas:

1) We wrap only a part of a large present because I don't want to waste the paper. One year, we wrapped a handlebar for my son, kept the bike in the garage. He opened it, pretended to use the handlebars and said, "My bike doesn't have wheels! But, I guess that's okay..."

1. For my 50th birthday, my brother gave me the party of my dreams. Both of my parents were there, which, because they divorced when I was young, was very rare. My extended family was there, and it is the most loved I ever felt. 2. The first time I held my oldest nephew. He was born prematurely, and he was about a month old before i Could hold him, and he was still tiny. I remember thinking that at that moment, I knew what love was. SJ

Awww, two memories from my life that truly make me smile are:

1. The moment my son was born and I realized I was a mom. I don't think anything will ever compare to that moment for me.

2. The look on my husband's face when he discovered we were hiding a kitten in the garage. We had gotten a cat about a year previously (a rescue) and the kids were begging for another one. He was adamant we were not getting another. Well it just so happened my daughters and I were at a friends house when she mentioned she was taking a box of
