Whole family forgot my birthday

Dh said he had the dates mixed up and he thought today was the 13th. He wished me happy birthday a full 24 hours late. I'm not upset. I wasn't even sure he forgot. I don't make a big deal of it so, I thought he wasn't either. But now to find out that he forgot... I'm mostly laughing it off, but I'm a little hurt that no one, not even my kids, remembered. :-( And the kicker... When he finally remembered, he got my age wrong! He made me an entire year OLDER than I am! He is so in the doghouse.

Bleah, I always hated hinting about upcoming events but learned that unless I did, my famiy would forget.

Maybe because they know that even if they forget, you will still love them, that they have the "luxury" of forgetting?

Awwww. I'm so sorry. :( That sucks. And I know that weird space you're in where you mostly don't care but it does sting a bit. *hugs*

Yeah, I've been there, too. It's far better to stay there than think about it and stew, I've found through personal experience.

Capricorn here. Dh felt horrible all day yesterday. I'm over it, but I'll put it in my back pocket in case I ever have to guilt him into doing something for me.

LOL, I like to ride things like that for a few favors, even if it didn't bother me much,
