has anyone done bikram yoga and does anyone have any feedback from it?
yes! i have been doing bikram yoga since april and whoever you are, you must at least try it. the heat is intense and you sweat more than you can imagine, but the feeling you have after a class is totally unmatched by any other type of physical exertion. your heart RACES (truly, it can be terrifying at times) but your breath and mind remain calm. it's definitely an exercise of your mind and determination! i have heard mixed opinions about the calorie burn, ranging from 300-1200 calories lost per 90 minutes session. whatever it is, the best thing about bikram is that you find you care very little about what your body looks like and more about what your body is physically capable of doing. it's great for gaining new perspectives about exercise! TRY IT!
I haven't tried it, I've heard good things but I can't get past the heat.
