Can anyone recommend a yoga DVD for beginners?

Hello everyone!

I have been doing exercise DVDs 5 times a week for several months which involve weights and cardio (I love Jillian Michaels). But I am so inflexible I wanted to try yoga. I am 22 years old and size 10-12 and am unable to touch my toes - I never remember being able to touch my toes.

I ordered a DVD to attempt to improve my flexibility - Essential Yogalates, which had great reviews and people said its good for all stages but I found it really hard and am unable to do a lot of the moves on it!. Am I just stupidly inflexible?!

So can anyone recommend a yoga DVD that is good for beginners (not the Yoga for Dummies one as I had the Pilates for Dummies one and hated it!)

Hmmm, I've not done a lot of yoga DVD's but do really like this one:

Hemalaya Behl: Yoga for Urban Living (2003)

It has three different routines for differnt times of day. Remember that any time you're doing the yoga moves, if you find you can't get all the way into a position you can use blocks and straps until you can fully position yourself into the position, and just keep working at it!

Thank you :)

Yea I just think I'm going to try sticking at the yogalates.

I had another go today and it wasn't too bad although I am aching a lot now, prob using muscles I never use!
