OMG...I didn't realize there were SO MANY types of yoga.
People I know who are true yoga fanatics hate gym yoga because it's not one style and it's just a combination of moves.
I know that yin yoga is extreme stretching, holding the poses for long periods of time...at our gym, about 3 minutes.
I'm not flexible at all (need to work on it) so any yoga is challenging flexibility for me!

As a passive observer, I thought yoga was just meditation and not much of a workout.
There was someone in my prenatal yoga class who was an advanced practitioner. At 4 months pregnant w/ twins, she was doing upside down poses that I couldn't do even now.
