How's your downward dog looking? Here's a great video to help you out with it: Downward Facing Dog

I'd love to have that kind of flexibility!

lol yeah-I don't find it restful. It's the shoulder action that is so uncomfortable for me.

Most people have downward taught early but the more you learn and the deeper you get the more challenging it is. I hear eventually it gets to be your rest pose. I ha e trouble buying that but ...... ok.

Hahahaha-You girls have made my day! I struggle with this position and do not find it comfortable at all and have always thought it was just me. People make it look so easy and I find myself straining to do it. lol

I have never liked that pose. Part of that is a shoulder injury but really that is a developed excuse. I have just never found ease in the pose. Glad I am not the only one. I always feel like everyone loves it except for me and some teachers like to have you spend so much tome in it. I really appreciate the depth of stretch and strength you can get in it ... that is wonderful, if only I didn't hate it. Ha! Oh, well.

I have such a love hate relationship with this pose. I've been doing yoga off and on for a decade now and it seems like this is the only pose I don't seem to grow in. On the one hand I love that its always challenging, but on the other hand I hate that I'm not getting better at it lol.
