Oh boy, I think I have I unleashed my husband's inner athletic child. He just bought some weights because now he has plans to buff up. And worst of all, he has bought us matching jogging outfits.

lol Jayne. I think that is really cute that your husband bought you matching outfits. I bet the two of you will get a lot of smiles and waves while you're out jogging together. :-)

In all seriousness, I have a DH that is OCD about exercise.  He doesn't miss it for anything.  In fact, he is building a weight room in a shed in the back yard.  For him, it is all about "his" thing.  It is his stress reliever, his guy time, his I feel like a man time.  I can't imagine my DH without exercise even though I do think he goes overboard.

If exercise is making your DH happy, I say go for it.  Sometimes it feels good to match his enthusiasm, even if that means matching jogging suits.
