I might be crazy that I'm posting here but I have always had this desire to be a runner. I just turned 36, I have a husband that loves to run along with two small boys. I hate the gym because I just get so board! Every time I see someone outside running I think.... I wish I could do that, I wish I could just go out there and run....
So two years ago, just 1 year after my son was born I ruptured a disc in my lower back and had to have emergency back surgery. I’m now about 50lbs over what I was and where I want to be with my weight.
I guess I finally decided to take the plunge and start here. Does anyone have any advice on how I should get started? I do have to admit I have tried to begin before and I find it so hard to push though. Maybe its because I try too much at once and then it’s over whelming… I have no idea. I might just be a big baby. (wink)
