Just discovered WATP.. what results have you seen? and other questions :o)

Hi all,

I just discovered WATP and I LOVE it! I have done some Jillian Michaels videos and they were just so difficult, the following day I can never move because my muscles hurt so bad.

I started off with the 3 mile and LOVE LOVE it! Its is something that I can definately stick with. (my 9 yr old twins even did it with me).

Welcome Heather!! I have been doing WATP since 2004, and I STILL LOVE it so much. It's my main form of exercise. I do add in some strength training and pilates as well.

It helped me to lose my original 128 lbs pounds when I started and helps me to maintain that loss. I am obsessed with her workouts and own over 60 of them now. I love her 5 mile walks, and the walks where she does interval training(walks/jogs)..

Believe it or not, I'm Heather too!

I found WATP about 3 yrs ago and have walked off about 30 pounds. I fell in love with this program so much that I also became a Walk Leader and am now running 4 classes weekly in Westchester County, NY. This program has changed my life!

Yah!!! That is so exciting that you are in one of her video's!!

I have only done the 2 and 3 mile ones so far. I am very interested in the Faith Walk but only see that in 1-2 miles workouts and I want to get up to 4-5 miles.

Anyway, I really do love the video's and find it very easy to squeeze in a 2 mile walk :o)

Yes, 2 miles is perfect...very easy to fit in and 30 mintues 5x weekly fits heart healthy guidelines.

Such a good choice!

There is a "Fast Start' 2 DVD set that comes with 1, 2 and 3 miles...it's one I've really enjoyed alot over the yrs.

I've not seen the Faith Walk, but have heard great things about it.

If you keep walking with Leslie it won't be long before you are ready for those longer 4 or 5 mile walks.

I was really interested in the Walk Leader program as well... but it's only available in the States.

I started the videos just about a month ago, after one workout, I was hooked! And just now, I realized today is a big day! I just pulled out my box of size 12 jeans and THEY FIT! I was up borderline size 16 on January 1st! If Leslie and the team were here right now, I would give them all a big hug!
