I'll start off just saying that I know this situation is BAD and I'm working on improving it.
That said, here's the bad.
HDL Cholesterol: 39
VLDL Cholesterol Cal: 46
LDL Cholesterol Calc: 106
(not even sure what this is?)
Also found out I'm low on Vitamin D and highly allergic to wheat, milk and eggs.
My Dr. started me on a cholesterol medicine that I almost always remember to take and I'm also taking Vitamin D and drinking the protein/fruit/vegetable shakes in the morning that he recommended. I've lost about 5 lbs since last month and when I avoid the allergens I feel MUCH better.
Is there anything I should know about lowering my triglycerides besides working on eating more fruits/vegetables, exercising and losing weight?
