It's been normal for about 20 years now. It had tended to be low before that (and I was briefly on medication for this.) The only time it rises to the high side is when I'm upset or panicked.

Poppy, mine is typically on the low end of normal. It was high toward the end of my pregnancy with my youngest son (and cause enough for ending the pregnancy early).

I have noticed when I panic it does rise and then once the reason for the upset is over, it drops very quickly. I've actually had episodes of syncope (fainting) because of this.

My usually runs about 116 over 64. I take Diovan once a day. I'm trying hard to watch what I eat and to exercise. I just have to get in the habit of MAKING MYSELF exercise.

Rhonda, I don't like to exercise either.... we just have to make ourselves do it.
