How's Everyone Doing Today?

...Any Special Plans for the Week-end?

We are getting rain so haven't really ventured out today.

Looking forward to a better day tomorrow.

Has anyone been watching the news?

It is so sad and heart-breaking to see ALL those affected by flooding in both Canada and the US and other terrible tragedies around the world.

Feel free to share your thoughts...

I'm a little late with my reply. We traveled to Idaho for a family reunion last weekend. It was fun but cold, rainy and snowy.

So much in the news. So sad, all the flooding and families without homes now. Also the Equine virus that is affecting sooo many horses.

Stay well and strong everyone.

Hi Rhonda, thanks for keeping us up=dated.

I had a really good day yesterday.

Third Anniversary since having my heart attack.

Started a program to help me deal with living with chronic illnesses/conditions.

I do feel like the news is so depressing.

They mentioned a pilot helping with the fires in Slave Lake crashed and unfortunately died.

My heart goes out to his family and friends for their loss.

We finally have a beautiful sunny Saturday.

Not doing anything, don't have anything special planned although it's a long week-end but it's okay my ds and I are hanging out.

So nice that's it's not gloomy or raining!

Wish the weather had been better for you but it's nice you got to go and had fun....really that's ALL that matters.

Thanks Rhonda.

Just to be on the safe side I would encourage your friend to go to her doctor or even the hospital.

The signs for women are somewhat different from what I understand.

My experience was chest pain but not everyone experiences that.

Or they think heart-burn etc.

When in doubt check it out.

Sometimes I wish my mom had been able to make it to the hospital sooner.

She had to be revived several times at home before they moved her.

She was taken to the hospital by Ambulance but didn't make it.

She died at the hospital.

I think she may have suffered other attacks but even though this one was fairly mild it was too much for her heart to take.

Time is of the essence in a heart attack or stroke.

Better to be safe than sorry.
