That's as may be (all things in moderation) but it does affect blood pressure and besides, I've gotten used to low salt...
I basically cut salt outt altogether and am an avid Label-Reader.
I saw it on another board and just wondered what everyone thought.
I'm trying to cut out or at least cut way back on the use of salt, but I need things that taste good...LOL. Does anyone have advice on spices to use in the place of salt?

I haven't totally cut out salt but I don't add it to my food either.
Here's a good discussion on our sister forum GardenWeb which talks about using herbs to "perk up" low salt or no salt. It's nit a substitute but it does relieve the blandness...
