Did you know many women having a heart attack don't have chest pain? According to Health Day News, "Two out of five women having a heart attack do not experience chest pain, according to a new study.Instead, they may have harder-to-recognize symptoms, such as pain in the jaw, neck, shoulders or back; stomach discomfort; or sudden trouble breathing, researchers said." more

If you have had a heart attack, did you realize you were having one? If you haven't had one, do you think you are knowledgeable enough about a heart attack to know to get help quickly?

Wow. Honestly, I had no idea that you may not experience chest pain. I've always thought that was the main/first symptom you'd feel. Interesting. I'm obviously not as knowledgeable as I need to be. Off to read the entire article now...

Yes I knew.

My Mom died of a heart attack...:smileysad:...

Sometimes you also can feel nauseated and I was also aware my upper lip was sweating profusely.

You can feel clammy to.

I did have chest pain.
