Your Neighborhood Can Affect Your Heart Health

Do you live near a park? Do you have sidewalks and a well lighted area to walk? If you do-it may be helping your heart. According to Health Day News:

"The most significant neighborhood factors that lead to ideal [cardiovascular] health were access to recreational resources like parks and trails where people can walk in safety and comfort, and the availability of healthy foods," study author Erin Unger, a medical student at Northwestern University, said in an American Heart Association (AHA) news release.

hmmm...I learned some new facts here. I would've never thought the way park paths are built could make such a difference.

I am in the process of looking for another place to live even contemplating a move to another city.
