Almost a big disaster

I was grocery shopping with Rose yesterday.  We were walking near the yogurt section and I was pushing the cart.  Suddenly one foot started sliding as far as it could under the cart while the other stayed put.  I grabbed the handle hard and was bent over so my head was under the height of the handle.  Fortunately, I didn't fall or tip the basket.  Somebody dropped some yogurt and didn't tell anybody.  It was not a small container either.  Rose called somebody over and then he called the manager.  While he was cleaning up the mess he looked over and found the container hidden on the bottom shelf behind whatever was stored there.  I had to fill out paperwork.  I thought I pulled a muscle in my right leg.  By the time I left the store I was slightly limping on my left leg.  On the ride home my back started hurting.  I called my chiropracter and got in to see him.  He did a good exam and said that my shoulders will be hurting soon.  He was right.

I'm feeling pretty good today.  I'm thankful that I didn't fall.  I'm thankful it was me and not somebody that would have had much damage to themselves if it happend to them-like a pregnant woman.

Stop and smell the flowers for me.

Yes, I saw that and it isn't funny. In fact, because they don't pay for the milk it is theft.

The people at the store were very nice.  I have maybe three more chiropracter apts. to go and I should be OK.

Oh yikes! I slid under the meat cooler once in the grocery and took a big chunk out of my leg. It was so embarassing. Employees were running from everywhere. It turned out there was some sort of drain issue and water had backed up under the cooler. I got just close enough to slide in it and kept on sliding.

Have you see the reports where those kids were dropping gallons of milk on purpose and creating a big stir? I can't imagine doing such a thing after having been through what I went through.
