With age, it's getting harder to find a comfortable position for good sleep in our bed.

For Christmas I'm going to buy myself one of those Sobawaka pillows.

I think I tried one of those - does it have little crinkly things inside?

I will tell you that it is very warm too. I can go get into bed at night {it's been below freezing the last couple of nights, we turn off our furnance at 11 pm, so the house is very cold} wrap my arms around it & within 15 minutes or so it's very warm to the touch. Really good for keeping you warm. I will give it that.

It does have a lot to do with age....when the kids were little I could sleep on our old bed or the floor or the car...Now I call it being picky but.....

We grew up using feather pillows. They got really funky after a few years and mom and grandma would make new ones ....AHHHHH...lol

After we were married I got to keep my pillow from home. Del could sleep on a box, still can...

The one time my DBIL got ahold of a great big batch of foam sheets. I mean he must have given me 30 of those things. What to do with them...so I sat and cut or pulled apart one sheet and made a pillow.......loved that thing... to the point that as it broke down I would gather up one end and sew across it and eventually the pillow was like a toss pillow for the couch and I tossed it.....Then went the years of those fiber pillows...they are good for one night then they are toast...you can't fluff them they were flat just awful...

Then one time while watching QVC they had on Northern nights bedding. Their feather pillows have the cleanest feathers of any pillow and so I thought after buying a new fiber pillow ever month that I would try these , I got the ones with the 2" gusset in them they sort of look like a sofa coushion....lol

But I can fluff them things almost round I can punch them roll them beat the heck out of the (that is what I do to pillows) and in the morning you pick it up and shake it and it looks like new...

Now I don't know why Del is just greasier than I am or something because his always discolors and get funky..... and he never fluffs his like I said he could sleep on a box...so the next time I buy them I am going to put one away and just get him one of the cheapy things because he don't like the fat pillows anyway....and keep one for me....but mine last a lot longer.......

Another nice thing with these is I don't get the feathers poking me like I did when I was a kid......lol......and they are just cooler for me too....

Janet, your pillow sounds just like what I'm looking for.
