I don't ever remember such a stormy night, by that I mean the area it involved. Good grief. We, were in one of those spots where it looked like we were going to get it big time and about the time the big cell got here it split. We got some rain but not as much wind as they said we were going to get. We did have some hail but it was small.....the worst thing was that the lights went out after the storm had passed. And were out for about 2 hours. Which wouldn't be a big deal but I need my c-pap to sleep....and I don't have a battery operated one..lol. So I lit a oil lamp, I have about 4 of them sitting on the shelf in case.....and I turned on my laptop and played cards....

Norfolk got hail that piled up and looked like drifts but they also flooded the video I saw the water was going down the main street very fast.

Saw that there was a lot of weather activity in your area. Glad to hear that you are ok and that your power is back on!!!

My mom hated wind more than anything. One time my dad suggested that they build a new house and right away they would put in a basement house and then as time went by they would put in the above ground house...it would be cooler and probably better in storms.. she said I will be underground soon enough I don't want to go there while I am alive......lol....so they added on and redid over the years.....but she passed away when she was 45 so she didn't even get the full joy of the new she did have.....

Strange how things work out..
