That was always my biggest fear..........well than and killing someone.....lol
Should never try beans in one either. That's another fine mess to clean off the ceiling.
Well there are some very good sounding split pea and bean recipes in that book and I am going to try them. I will let you know if it is different now a days...lol
I made that pork pot roast, cooked the roast then put in the carrots, onions and celery and pressured them for 5 minutes and the veggies were perfect....they were raw when they went in......but you know a loin roast really is good for grinding and making sandwiches...it didn't fall apart....but what is left would be good for slicing......I just cut it up and put it in the leftover veggies and gravy.....
When we get home I am going to try the cheesecake and bread pudding....

One day I decided to heat up the turkey heart that I had already cooked for the dog.
My goodness, I've heard that can happen, but have never owned a pressure cooker.
