The older grands are starting to discuss plans for Thanksgiving & Christmas already and I can feel my tension rising.

Only you can do something about it........

We didn't have any problems between the family members or anything but 20 people in my house for dinner with little kids wanting to open gifts and the hassle you know what I mean.......we finally had to say

Well, our DIL concurred with me that the ex wife will NOT be at the Berkman gatherings.

I guess I can't relate since my kids aren't married. I often wish that there were more than just the FOUR of us at holiday meals. Guess I better be careful for what I wish for..lol

I am not saying we haven't had divorces in our family, not my folks or my bro or sis...but the ones that have split kids or grandkids it seems that the exes went their own way and were rarely heard from again..... from what I hear that is strange...

There was no fighting over the kids they worked that out in the divorce and there just wasn't any of that infighting.....maybe we were just lucky. When I happen to see those exes I am pleasant and sometimes have an "appointment" that I have to get to and I leave.

I wouldn't want to be in on any situation were there was arguing and fighting with kids around...... I have never been a fan of drama......lol
