I got to see her!

Sat. we had training at Noah's Ark.  We were taken behind the scenes to the holding area.  Our latest arrival is a 3 yr old white tiger.  These stupid breeders try for a recessive gene.  Any that don't come out properly are put down.  I don't know why they kept Zuri.  She was almost bald from mange, has a special stomach problem that keeps her on a special diet for the rest of her life, and has crooked teeth so her tongue sticks out a bit.  Her fur is back and she is spunky.  Right near her pen is the grazing area for the miniture horses and she looks like she wants to pounce.  They ignore her.

I'm not working much until the end of the month.  DS & R had had a cold this weekend.  So I stayed away from them.  R had to come back eary from visiting her sis because of her migraines.

Last night we had the first on the fish I brought back.  It was ssssoooo good. I pulled out mahi mahi.  I broiled it and basted it with lemon butter.

My one DGD was a strawberry on Halloween.  At her church contest she was beaten out of first place by somebody dressed as a whoopi cushion.  The 4 yr old. DGS won and he went as Bob the Builder.

We had candy but nobody came.

Take care,

K

Did you get a picture? I don't think I even knew that there were white tigers!

Mahi-Mahi is one of favorites...Love it when DS catches it and we cook it on the grill with a little pineapple salsa!
