I'm back!

For months I couldn't get on even after Ivillage 'helped.'  They said the tech people were working on the problem; I told them they need new tech people because this has been going on for months.

Update: Grand #9 arrived in Jan. and like all his siblings is named after a family member. This time it is one of his grandfathers. Jackson Daniel had some breathing difficulties at first but he is thriving now.  The family just went camping this weekend.

After seven specialists and many, many tests the last doctor who is a neurologist and a neuro-opthamologist "thinks" (because when it is related to brain and nerves) the pain in my eye is caused because the nerves that control facial senses is twitching.  No reason for it to start; don't know what causes it; doesn't know if it will go away.  So after more than a year & 1/2 I am free of intense eye pain.  In order to get the nerve to settle down I have to take meds that make me sleep.

To the lady that volunteers-organizations have to be sure they are getting honest people who won't steal or do anything that may result in a law suit.  Normally when I volunteer I have to have a background check.  It's just a sign of the times.  Good luck.

I've sure missed being able to post especially after reading some.

I'm going to stop here and see if this will post.

Welcome back...Karen, glad to hear that your eye pain is gone. As you know, a lot of the Ladybugs have gotten very frustrated and have gone elsewhere. It's still not perfect here, and I am hoping that some day it will back to good old days of posting. (one can dream)....

Hi Karen and welcome back. Congrats on your grandson! My grand #2 is due July 5 (boy) and my daughter plans to name him Jackson. I really like that name and am seeing it pop up more and more.

I don't know if anyone shared this with you are not but we do know there is a delay in the authentification process. If you try to post before you are fully logged in, you'll get an error message. To make sure you are fully logged in, look to see if your name is at the top left hand corner of the board. I usually log in when I first arrive, wait for my name to appear, then I know I'm ready to reply if I find something that I want to reply to.

Hope this helps!
