When I was going to garage sales I came across one that had several jars of old beads, buttons and broken or just old jewelry.....I paid 50 cents a quart and got 3 of them..... I got more miles out of that old stuff than you can even think of.. The buttons came in handy, what I didn't use for clothes I made crafts out of...

I tore a lot of stuff apart and made myself earrings and necklaces out of them.....Barretts for the girls and I don't remember what they called them but things we sewed onto their old jeans for decoration......just tons of stuff..

A couple months ago after I talked my youngest sister into selling the jewelry she is making and a friend of mine is selling her home made earrings I thought I would give it a try.....

So I am going to only for the most part to natural gemstones and glass....no plastic....I got me some beads and stuff.....lots of stuff........and found one thing I hadn't thought about. A place to put the beads.... nowadays they come in strands instead of in packages like in the old days....lol.....until I get somewhere to put things I can't go on with my thoughts....I have a big old fashioned desk I told about years ago......it was in the dairy office it is one of those huge things with the green slate top.....they are about as big in area as a 6 month crib....we got it in here and set up and it is sooooo heavy that when we got new carpet the guy that laid the carpet moved it for us and it can't move and it will be in the house when I am gone.......that is the size and weight of it.....so I thought I might as well use it for something and since my computer is so close I can watch how to videos and work at the same time....but there is no room........lol

I am working on making my loops so I can link things.......here is my first try....I know it is ruff but maybe I will get better....lol

The back doctor told me that whatever my back problem was it wasn't alignment. So I never went back.....who knows now though.....I see a guy on the 28th about my back and if he can't help I will just give up with it...

Years ago I bought a firm mattress for our bed. I have always under my side kept 2 folded sheet blankets and an old regular blanket. I wasn't as worried about wetting the bed as I was those pot holes from where they draw it up....some call them tufts, some call them something else.....they said that there was no way I could feel them....well at first I would put my heal in one and my knee in one and my elbow....so the first thing we got was an egg crate foam thing......it was like sleeping with the eggs still in the crates.....

So I put all that stuff under me so I couldn't feel the holes.
