One of the bad things about summer

I thought it was bad enough to have my knees bone on bone, and my mystry low back pain....but before we came back from the camper I started having a problem with that joint on the left side that I sit on......I thought it was just muscle but no it is in the joint and it is called Weaver's bottom......

I asked if it was from being on the computer to much and he said not unless I was sitting on a piano bench......I said does a picnic table count and he said more than likely........so it was hard for me to step up because of my knees so when I came home with groceries I would have to sit them inside so I could hang on to step inside.....well with this new problem stepping up is even more painful........

If there is anything funny about this whole thing is that I have had this low back problem that I have doctored with for over 15 years and nothing was ever done to make it better.....then my knees went......well, I haven't wanted to go to bed for a long time because it hurts to lay down and I don't sleep that well anyway......I can't stand for long or walk very far.......now sitting is very painful........

Does that mean I am doomed?

The bone doctor today said he could give me a cortizone shot in there if I wanted but it is a big needle and it is not fun to get but it would help.......the good thing is that he said it will get better as long as I sit on something soft.....I thought I was already sitting on something soft......lol

I had a similar problem with my new desk chair - not enough chair padding.

The doc said to put a pillow under the sore side...I had been doing that or leaning to the good side...I think I just paid big bucks and I had the solution myself....

stretching...that's what works for me. the best one is just lying flat on the floor with your knees bent to your chest. Hold then for a while, rock from side to side, then stretch out your legs. Repeat several times.
