With the popularity of "American Idol" and "Dancing with the Stars" there is a lot of interest in the "arts".

*QUESTION*

If you could only choose one,
had you rather be a wonderful Singer
or a fantastic Dancer?

In my dreams I am "singing my heart out".
I'm a mixture of Reba, Dolly, Carrie Underwood, and Miranda Lambert.
I'm a country singin', heart-breakin', wanna-be SINGER!!

For longevity, would love to have been a wonderful singer.

But even in childhood & beyond, did enjoy dance so guess if going w/my heart

Terrific question, Deb. Used to love both even though I know that I sing flat. Never had the confidence to do what we call ballroom dancing AKA DWTS, neither did DH, only tried rarely. Studied classical ballet from about 11 to 14, but was already way too tall, Studied the fore-runner to jazz ballet until 18, loved that, but got married and moved away. Tried belly dancing when was in my 40s, loved that also. The funny thing about a frankly fat woman doing belly dancing is that when you start to shimmy, you can't stop LOL. Obviously since I have trouble just walking, dancing is sort of gone with the wind. Voice cracks now when I sing - oh me, oh my!! - still I would choose dance though. Love and hugs, Jenni
