Random acts of kindness

Last night DS, R and I went to dinner at Red Lobster.  While we were ending dinner it started to rain.  It was a steady but not hard rain.  I was freezing so I decided to go to the car while DS paid the bill.  As I walked out the door, a man with a large umbrella was walking towards the door.  He asked if I was ready and where my car was parked.  He escorted me and when I asked why he said his wife was inside talking.  Instead of getting angry over waiting for her, he decided to help people to their cars.  One family had small children.  At parting he wished me a good week.

I received a call today and I'll have the opportunity to work between Oct. and the first week in Dec.  It will pay for Christmas and birthdays.  I did this last year too.

Not much else is going on today.  DSIL has my car so DS can take his truck today.

Stay cool and dry.  Temps are dropping to the 80's and it feels so good.

That was a very nice gesture indeed. Wouldn't this be a better world if everyone were to do something like that?
Temps feel good here...looks like rain is heading in for the weekend. If so, picnic plans will be spoiled....oh well..you can't fight mother nature!

I just love it when someone is kind and thoughtful. The world would be a much better place if more people thought that way. Nice of the man on a wet, cold night. Great that you have work for a couple of months before Christmas, must make things a lot better. I am so lucky, have the age pension, not too much, but plenty for me. Love and hugs, Jenni
