I was born on the 27th of March, I asked my mom one time why she couldn't have waited till April 1st so then I could have a pretty birthstone...She blamed me for my birthday.......LOL.....
When I was little in March one year the local jewelry store had a traditional March birthstone and an Aquamarine. I fell in love with that Bloodstone....And the Aqua was so clean and had a green tint to it but I always thought it was plain..I don't remember the price but I am sure that would suprise me now...lol
Del asked me one time why I didn't have a birthstone ring...he bought me some earrings years ago in gold and I never felt like I wanted to wear them, didn't want to lose them......and besides they looked like topaz.....Aqua always does in the stores to me...
One day I was watching Jewelry tv......and they had an Aqua that looked like it had a green tint to it...it was on clearence, Sterling silver now is more expencive but my favorite metal....I prefer it to be coated in Rhodium so don't have to clean it ....lol.....but the price seemed good......
I got it.
Bought a pair of Rykas yrs ago from QVC & enjoyed them so much....they lasted a long time.
Hey, don't knock the aquamarine! That's my birthstone too.
My Aunt Sue used to have a bloodstone ring, Janet, and I just loved it!

You are loved ~~ far more than you may ever know!
With my toes, knees and such anything that has heels or more of a stiff shoe makes me feel real wobbly...I have never been a dress up person guess that is why I am glad I don't live in the city where you would have to do that.....
I am thinking of making earrings with semi precious stones I have always liked the kid that have the smaller drops on them and I can get you know the more of a chip looking stones they are light and you would still have something organic....lol......the glass stones are pretty too.....
I think I would be able to sell them around here, I know a lady that makes mostly acrylic bead earrings and she sells a lot of them. Just thought I might give it a try....
