We did not evacuate.Our town, Rehoboth Beach,DE, has been in the news all day Now that it is dark, things are especially scary.We live right on the bay and the beach is just a few blocks from my house. Hoping that thre water doesn't get any closer to my house!!!

I hope everything is OK Shari. There was a time we didn't evacuate and the water came up within a foot of our door-six feet off the ground.
We left VA just in time. I didn't want to be in this one. My friend is OK.

After reading your post on FB I know that you survived the storm without damage. But I cannot recall if you lost power or not. At any rate, I sure do pray for all of your East Coast neighbors who did not fare so well.
